As of June 22, 2008 all of the puppies have gone to their new homes. TicTac (who's new name is Lilly) and Chloe both found great homes in Charlotte and we are excited that they will be coming back to visit while each of their families take a short vacation this summer. Yeah! More pictures to take. Ludwig also found a home nearby in Davidson with 2 little boys to grow up with.
Pitch got a new name and a new home. His new name is Steeler- which is funny because my daughter is also a Steelers fan and was already calling him the Pitchburg Squeeler...Ha! He flew to San Francisco to live with his new family in Tracy, CA. Maylei went to an OES loving home in PA and her new mommy drove all the way down to get her. Rambo found an awesome family in WV and Zorra has a new mommy in VA but they may be moving to San Jose soon. Reilly is gonna be a city/country boy. His new family has a big farm down in Abbeyville SC but he gets to spend some weekends with his "sisters" in Charlotte. Woohoo!
Lilly Pad stole my daughter Chelsea's heart. She will be flying back to Long Beach with her and be living the good life in sunny California.
What about Trigger, you ask? He was the last puppy born and we almost lost him. Doba was exhausted as were we, and she didn't even seem to notice he had been born. We found him still in his sack and not breathing. Fortunately we were there and able to clean him off and resuscitate him! So you guessed it. He's my little angel and I am keeping him all to myself. He is healthy and happy and one of the biggest puppies now! Trigger-Big Rig! We love you.
We love all of you!
Steeler's Family sent me some pictures! Thank you!!!

Rambo is about 55 pounds now - not sure how that compares to his brothers and sisters. Rambo is rarely alone and I think he likes it that way. He still goes to work with Dino daily. He has his own bed at Dino's office, although he mostly prefers to nap on the couch.
He's been a big hit everywhere we take him. We once had a guy stop in the middle of the street to tell us about the sheepdogs he had growing up. He's also a big hit with my 5 year old twin cousins. They love to run around the back with Rambo (or as they call him "Rainbow").
I think he's enjoying the winter in WV. He loves snow! There is so much I could say about him - I could go on for days! He's really been a wonderful dog and we feel blessed to have him.
Anyway, I hope you guys are all doing great. Have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!

Steeler is doing great. His is weighing in at about 62lbs. His vet said he looks great and has a very nice bone structure. He runs around like a crazy man and loves to go bye-bye in the car. In Sept. we took him to Pismo with us, he did perfect in the car, he sat with the kids like he was one of them (he is) and had a great time on the beach. He was neutered a couple months ago, and we had some mats in his beard we had to take care of. He would get so wet drinking water with the e-collar on, we tried to keep him as dry as possible but it was tough. He goes to the groomer once a month and loves it, believe it or not. They treat him like a king there. We just went through obedience training and of course we have a lot of work to do, not to worried about it though he's still a puppy. He will be going back to Pismo with us next month, my oldest daughter wants him to take one of her senior pictures with her. We couldn't be happier with our choice to adopt him. Thank you so much. ~ Missy
